2ZLF recycle EWC 13 05 08* Interceptor Waste and Interceptor Sludge at our bespoke recycling plant in Derby, in the heart of the Midlands.
Interceptor sludge is assigned the EWC 13 05 08* which is an absolute hazardous code. 2ZLF is permitted to receive 130508. The Tankers firstly decant their water element through a vibrating primary screen from where it is pumped through a solids settlement system and into the 2ZLF Electrocoagulation water treatment system.
The tanker then tips the solids into a dedicated, isolated bay. The solids are then loaded into a solids treatment system where the sand is scrubbed clean with the fines and oil passing to the settlement system.
